Jasper Police Chief Garrett Foster said over the weekend that investigations were continuing into two recent armed robberies. So far, no arrests have been made. The first occurred on the night of Thursday, November 21st at the Sunshine Convenience Store on Highway 190 East. The second occurred on the night of Thursday, November 28th at the Sunshine Convenience Store on Highway 96 North. Police say in both cases the stores were robbed by black males armed with a gun.
