Traffic is flowing smoothly once again along Interstate 49 north in DeSoto Parish nearly 18 hours after a big rig accident put the brakes on travel.
The crash happened near exit 186 in Frierson. According Louisiana State Police, an 18-wheeler crashed and ended up partially hanging over the side of an overpass.
Luckily, nobody was seriously injured.
After the hours-long closure, the interstate was reopened about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
