Interstate 10 traffic was backed up for miles after an early Friday morning crash involving several large commercial vehicles occurred at the Texas-Louisiana state line. The Texas Department of Public Safety says at about 1:35 a.m., a westbound 18-wheeler hit a piece of equipment that fell off of a vehicle, and the big-rig then hit the inside concrete barrier. After that it was a chain-reaction with more trucks and other vehicles crashing into the initial wreck. Amazingly, there were no injuries. It took until 10:00 Friday morning to clean up the wreckage and get traffic moving again.
