The Texas Department of Transportation announced Friday afternoon that the Highway 190 Bridge at Dam B just West of Jasper, TX, has reopened.
The bridge was closed on April 27, 2020, after Texas Department of Transportation officials reported that engineers had discovered damage to the structure, and the bridge had to be closed to traffic immediately.
Texas State Representative James White (R-Woodville) vowed that he would make sure that the repair job was done as expeditiously as possible, and true to his word the bridge reopened days before the TXDOT estimate.
