SHREVEPORT, La. - The heat is on this Friday. The National Weather Service-Shreveport will have a heat advisory across the ArkLaTex from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Look for heat indices during this period to climb to between 105 and 109 degrees. Actual temperatures will approach triple digits in some areas. If outdoor activities are planned, take extra precautions.
