He was driving THAT at high speed?

Shelby County Sheriff Kevin Windham says after 911 dispatchers received reports of the same man driving recklessly and dangerously on eight different days, deputies finally caught him. Meanwhile, the vehicle that he was driving appeared to be held together with tape, glue, and a prayer. Windham says numerous complaints came in during January and into February reporting the man, later identified as 20-year-old Gary Smith, of San Augustine, was driving an older model Ford Mustang erratically and running at high rates of speed. According to Windham, on January 27th deputies caught and arrested Smith on charges of No Driver's License and Speeding. However, the arrest apparently didn't deter Smith and after he was released on bond, the sheriff says deputies caught and arrested him again on February 6th on a charge of No Driver's License, and he also had six warrants for Failure to Appear in court for traffic violations. Windham says this time Smith remains in the Shelby County Jail.
