There were some tense moments at the Jasper High School on Wednesday when a student reported seeing a gun. School resource officers and others were notified and within a very short time it was reported that the weapon turned out to be only a toy. However, the Superintendent of Schools, John Seybold said the issue was taken seriously and response was quick. Seybold said all such situations involving weapons will not be tolerated and anyone bringing any firearm to school would face the consequences.
