Word came out of Austin on Tuesday afternoon that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has tested positive for Coronavirus. However, as of Tuesday he had no symptoms of the virus and his staff says that he is being administered Regeneron's monoclonal antibody treatment.
The Governor’s Office put out a statement which said that Abbott, who is vaccinated for the illness, has been tested daily and the Tuesday test came back positive.
Meanwhile, the staff says that Abbott will be quarantined and isolated in the Governor’s Mansion where he’ll remain in contact with staff members, agency heads, and other state government officials.
