NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A former Natchitoches city employee has been arrested for allegedly stealing fuel, the police department said Monday in a news release. Nathan Holmes, 21, was arrested Friday on a charge of theft. He was issued a summons to appear in City Court. Natchitoches police detectives began their investigation on Jan. 10 after being contacted by the city's utility department. Detectives allege Homes used a city-issued fuel card to make illegal fuel purchases.
