Jasper firemen dealt with a car fire on Wednesday evening. They were toned out shortly before 9:00 to the 700 block of Caldwell Street and arrived to find the vehicle sitting on the side of the street and completely engulfed.
There’s no word on who owned the car or how the fire may have started. In fact, the car was destroyed to the point that it was impossible to tell what make and model it was.
Fortunately, no injuries resulted and the car was far enough away from houses that it didn’t pose a danger to them.
