In a followup to a story about five Little Cypress-Mauriceville students injured in an early Wednesday morning accident, there’s good news about their condition. The school district released a statement on Thursday saying that all five are now listed in stable condition.
The students were all reportedly headed to football practice in a 2018 Dodge pickup truck when the vehicle went off of Farm to Market Road 1130 and collided with a tree.
DPS released the following information about the injured:
Driver – age 16, transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
Passenger 1 - age 15, transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
Passenger 2 – age 13, transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
Passenger 3 – age 12, transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont
Passenger 4 – age 12, transported to UTMB Health in Galveston
