SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - A fire caused an evacuation tonight at the Walmart on North Cities Service Highway in Sulphur.
According to an employee 7News spoke with, the fire started in the trash compactor. First responders were called after smoke and a burning smell began to fill the store.
The store will remain closed for the night, officials said.
There is no word yet of any injuries. 7News has reached out to the Sulphur Fire Department for more information.
