Firefighters from the Angelina River, Lake Rayburn and Beech Grove Fire Departments along with the Texas Forest Service have been sent to a rural location on Tyler County Road 3900, just north of Recreational Road 255 where it was reported to have broken out. The firefighters from Jasper County have joined firefighters from both Woodville and Colmesniel as they battle the blaze. Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford says the fire is near the intersection of County Road 3910. Firefighting aircraft were called in and immediately began dropping water on the fire. Recreational Road 255 west of Highway 63 is closed at this time. Firefighters also battling blaze on Farm to Market Road 256 near Colmesneil.
