The fourth and final suspect has been captured after an incident in Kirbyville on Tuesday afternoon in which a man reported that four armed males threatened him. It happened on Otis Cooper Street.
Officers arrived and arrested Brodrick Spikes, 27, Emory Sherman, 20, and DeRodney McCain, 29, all of Newton. However, 24-year-old Devonta Spikes, also of Newton, fled on foot.
Spikes was arrested at in Newton County after Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard received information about his location.
All four have been charged with Deadly Conduct, and Devonta Spikes has an additional charge of Evading Arrest.
