WINN PARISH, La. (KALB) - A Monroe man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred on Highway 471 near Atlanta, Louisiana, on August 11.
Louisiana State Police shared that Dustin Demoss, 40, was traveling north on HWY 471 around 3:20 p.m. when he crossed the centerline of the road and hit another vehicle head-on.
Demoss was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the other vehicle had moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital.
