MINDEN, La. -- A Webster Parish man died early Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash, state troopers said. The victim, identified as Steven Studdard, 50, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected, troopers said. He died at the scene. The crash happened at 12:30 a.m. on Fuller Road west of U.S. Highway 371. Troopers said Studdard was driving east at a high rate of speed when he went off the road and overturned. Impairment is suspected, troopers said.
