DEL RIO, Texas (Gray News) – A family was killed in a traffic crash with a FedEx truck Tuesday night. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a FedEx box truck was heading eastbound on US 57 about nine miles east of Eagle Pass when it veered into the other lane, driving on the wrong side of the road. Authorities said the truck hit a Hyundai head-on. The driver of the SUV and its four passengers all died from their injuries. Troopers said Jose Martinez, 71, Noemi Jimenez Martinez, 61, Joanna Martinez, 34, and Samantha Martinez, 25, all from Eagle Pass, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
