An elderly couple was injured when their vehicle crashed and rolled over on the front yard of a house. It happened at about 4:00 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of County Roads 32 and 78 in northwest Jasper County. Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said that 78-year-old Glenn Mobley, of Jasper, was driving a 2019 Dodge pickup truck when he went off the road and struck a concrete barrier for a culvert. Sergeant Clark said Mobley was flown by medical helicopter to a Conroe hospital with life threatening injuries, while the female passenger, who was not identified, was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
