A mobile home was completely destroyed in an early Thursday morning fire south of Jasper. The Tr-Community Fire Department was dispatched out shortly before 7:00 to County Road 351, about midway between Jasper and the Erin Community, and arrived to find the house completely engulfed in flames and already partially collapsed. The Jasper Fire Department also responded to assist with equipment and manpower. Fortunately, firefighters said the occupants of the house were outside upon their arrival and there were no injuries. Firemen were called back to the house at about 11:00 Thursday morning to douse some hot-spots that had flamed back up. There’s no word on what may have caused the blaze.
