Ironically, no injuries were reported following a one vehicle auto accident that occurred shortly before 1:00 on Sunday morning on Highway 190, west of Jasper. The volunteers of the Beech Grove Fire Department along with other emergency personnel were dispatched to the location between the intersection of Farm to Market Road 1747 and Dam B when it was reported that the accident had occurred and reportedly arrived to find a Ford Ranger pickup truck upside down in a drainage ditch full of water with the driver still inside. Firemen said the female driver, who was not identified in the report, was checked out by emergency medical technicians at the scene and reported to be ok but was taken into custody by a State Trooper and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
