One person was killed in an Easter Sunday wreck just northwest of Chester. Polk County Today is reporting that it occurred at about 3:00pm on U.S. Highway 287 in the Barnum Community, just outside of the Tyler County line.
State troopers say Randall Lee Parker, 48, of Kennard, was driving a 2001 Ford F-150 truck westbound when he went off the road, over-corrected, and then the truck began flipping over until it hit a pine tree.
The report said Parker was ejected from the vehicle and killed instantly.
