NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - One person is dead after a Saturday night crash in Nacogdoches, police say. According to a Facebook post from the Nacogdoches Police Department, officers responded to the crash around 9:49 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Southwest Stallings Drive. Upon arrival, they said a passenger vehicle was found to have left the roadway while driving north and struck road equipment. The single occupant of the vehicle was taken by EMS, but was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The identity of the driver has not been released.
