A woman was very critically injured in an early Wednesday morning rollover crash in south Jasper County. The Texas Department of Public Safety says it occurred at about 7:00 on Highway 96 near Reese Road, just north of Evadale. Troopers said the driver of a 2016 Honda Pilot was southbound when she almost hit the back of another vehicle. She took evasive action which caused her car to go out of control, striking a driveway and then rolling over multiple times. The woman was ejected from the vehicle. At last word she was undergoing treatment at St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. KJAS News will post more information when it becomes available from DPS Sergeant Shana Clark.
