The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate a man reported missing last week by his family.
Larry Dean Simpson last made contact with his family around 3 p.m. Oct. 8. His last know whereabouts were at his residence at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The 61-year-old Simpson had been suffering from depression at the time of his disappearance. He is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 215 pounds.
Simpson drives a white 2011 Ford F-150 single cab truck with a toolbox in the bed that does not close properly. Louisiana license plate number is C829014.
Anyone with information that may lead to the safe return of Simpson to his family is asked to contact the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office at (318) 872-3956 and speak with Det. Travis Chelette.
