GREGG COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Authorities have released a description of a vehicle that may have been involved in the hit and run of bicyclist on a Gregg County road.
The crime took place around 7 p.m. on the westbound side of FM 1252 Monday. According to Department of Public Safety Sergeant Adam Albritton, a vehicle struck an older man riding a bicycle and did not stop to help.
He said the victim was later hospitalized with serious injuries.
The suspect’s vehicle is described to possibly be a gray or silver newer model Hyundai Sonata or Elantra. It is also described to be missing its right-side rear-view mirror and may have more damage on its right side, Albritton said.
It was last seen driving west on FM 1252.
