BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the commercial motor vehicle prohibition for the I-20 major rehabilitation project construction zone in Bossier City has officially been lifted.

Drivers of commercial motor vehicles, including 18-wheelers and school buses, are now legally permitted to drive through the I-20 work zone.

State transportation officials noted that final work items for the rehabilitation project are anticipated to wrap up in late May or early June 2026, depending on the weather.
