DEEP EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - According to the city of San Augustine, power outages in their area affected DETEC and surrounding areas Thursday. Poweroutage.us said there were 276 outages in San Augustine County, 1,666 in Sabine County, and two each in the counties of Nacogdoches and Jasper around 4:30 p.m. According to San Augustine’s Facebook page, Deep East Texas Electrical Cooperative (DETEC) was without power.
