Timothy Lee Deason (45) of DeRidder, LA, was convicted on Thursday, May 27, 2022, of one count sexual battery of a child under the age of 13 and sexual battery of a child under the age of 15.
Sentencing is scheduled for tomorrow, June 1, in 36th Judicial District Court.
Louisiana State Statues state he could be sentenced to a possible maximum sentence of 99 years with a minimum of 25 years to be served without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence on the charge of sexual battery of a child under the age of 13. Sexual battery of a child under the age of 15 carries a maximum sentence of up to ten years without benefit of early release.
