Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox says a death investigation is underway after a woman was found deceased over the weekend.
According to a statement from Maddox, his deputies responded to the call at about 2:00 p.m. Saturday at 434 Obanion Drive in Hemphill. Maddox said Tina Lynn Malmay, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene by a justice of the peace who has ordered an autopsy.
Meanwhile, Maddox said as they await autopsy results, they’re asking for anyone that may have any information about the death of Tina Lynn Malmay to come forward and contact his office at 409-787-2266. You do not have to give your name.
