The Texas Department of Public Safety has discontinued a Silver Alert issued for a Crockett woman who has been missing since early February.
Family members told police they have not heard from Faye Weisinger Paul since Feb. 7.
On Monday evening, Crockett Police Chief Clayton Smith made a statement regarding the case. He said that Weisinger’s car was found, leading to the cancellation of the Silver Alert. However, the woman has not been found as of Monday at 5:30 p.m.
A Silver Alert was issued by the Texas Dept. of Public Safety on Friday, but the notice was discontinued on Monday. Texas DPS did not say whether Paul had been found.
