The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office has identified a man killed early Monday morning in a deadly shootout on Interstate 20.
The coroner on Tuesday said Phuoc Dinh Le, 32, of Longview, Texas, was the driver of a vehicle that had slowed with the westbound traffic at the Fairfield Avenue exit while Shreveport police worked a crash. The driver of another car passed by and shots were fired.
Le was hit in the abdomen and taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he died.
The interstate was closed for about 3 hours during SPD's investigation.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a white sedan.
