The Tyler County Sheriff's Department says a Colmesneil High School student is jailed following a Wednesday incident at the school. According to Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, deputies responded to the campus at about 5:oo p.m. when it was reported that 17-year-old Chassin Tausch made threats to shoot other students after an argument earlier in the day. Weatherford said security video confirmed reports from witnesses who said that Tausch acted as if he were pointing a rifle towards other students. According to Weatherford, deputies sought and received an arrest warrant issued by Justice of the Peace Ken Jobe and then arrested Tausch. Chassin Tausch was then charged with Felony Terroristic Threat.
