The Caddo Parish Coroner's office released the name of a child who drowned at a west Shreveport residence on Saturday, September 5.
Kayson Bradford, age 5, died at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport at 9:44 p.m. - 30 minutes after he was transported from a family residence in the 2900 block of Independence Ave. in the Country Club Hills neighborhood.
An autopsy was ordered through Ochsner.
The drowning remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
