SHREVEPORT, La. — A Caddo Fire District 4 ambulance was struck by an SUV Monday evening while transporting a patient to Willis-Knighton South Hospital.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Colquitt Road and Dean Road. Officials said Medic 410 was traveling with emergency lights and sirens activated when a female driver in an SUV hit the driver's side of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported. A second unit arrived to complete the patient’s transport.
