A burned body was found Tuesday afternoon in a deep drainage ditch in the 600 block of Browning Street in Shreveport's Cedar Grove neighborhood.
The coroner identified the victim as Kenneth Taylor, 23, of Shreveport.
Police said the fire department was called to the same area Monday night because of a burning car.
Authorities said the two incidents are likely connected.
Police are treating the investigation as a homicide.
