A woman from nearby Burkeville was injured in a two vehicle that occurred just west of Jasper on Friday evening. The crash occurred shortly after 7:00 on Highway 63 West at County Road 168, commonly known as Ryall Acres.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said Abby Fancher, 20, of Burkeville, was driving a 2019 Dodge SUV westbound and was followed by a 2007 Ford car, driven by Quinton Crow, 18, of Jasper.
Clark said Fancher slowed to make a turn into Ryall Acres and was apparently rear ended by the vehicle driven by Crow.
Sergeant Clark said Crow received a citation for Failure to Control Speed.
