Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said Thursday that an investigation of incidents alleged to have occurred between 2022 and 2023 had resulted in the arrest of a Buna man.
Havard said the charges came following the conclusion of an investigation by Lt. Jason McClelland and the District Attorney's Office which resulted in the arrest of Nathan Paul Woods, 63, who is accused of having prohibited sexual contact with a juvenile.
Havard said Woods was taken into custody on Thursday and was taken to the Jasper County Jail where a judge set his bond at a total of $2.4 million.
