What began as a simple civil standby call turned into an arrest near Buna early Wednesday morning.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department report said deputies went to a residence on Farm to Market Road 1004 and when they arrived they discovered that a disturbance had occurred with two people assaulting each other. The report said both people declined to file charges.
However, one of those involved, 42-year-old Conroy Graffangnino, Jr. was wanted in Tyler County on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
Graffangnino was arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail where he awaits transfer to the Tyler County Jail.
