Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said Tuesday that a man had been arrested following an incident involving gun fire that occurred at a home in the Buna Area on Monday evening.
Havard said deputies were sent to a home on County Road 749 shortly before 10:00 when it was reported that a man had fired gunshots at his son following a heated argument between the two. However, no one was injured in the incident.
Elijah Quillen, 47 was arrested an taken to the Jasper County Jail where he was later charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon.
