During this relentless heatwave, the last thing anyone needs is to lose their air-conditioner. However, that’s what happened to a small church in the Curtis Community. Jasper County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Scotty Duncan says deputies are trying to figure out who fired a bullet through the air-conditioner unit at Faith Chapel Church, located on Highway 63 West at County Road 109. Duncan noted that it could have been simply accidental, and he cautioned shooters to be very careful of where you aim.
