BROWNSBORO, Texas (KLTV) - Authorities were called to a report of a flipped vehicle on FM 314 near New Hope Church. Brownsboro Fire Rescue reported that they were called to a major crash at about 10:30 a.m., most likely caused by FM 314 being “solid (black) ice in places.” Officers said people were “flying past” at unsafe speeds even while they were at the scene, with sleet falling, and urged drivers to please slow down. The road was clear as of about 11:50 a.m., but officers warn drivers that even a thin amount of ice can cause vehicles to flip along roadway curves. No information is available yet about the condition of the driver.
