The Texas Department of Public Safety says a Bon Wier man went to the hospital here in Jasper on Monday after he was injured in an accident involving a motorcycle just south of Bon Wier. A report filed by the investigating officer said 50-year-old Hubert Teague was traveling west on Newton County Road 4070 shortly before 5:00 pm on a 2002 Honda when he apparently hit a pothole causing him to be thrown from the bike. Teague was taken by ambulance to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital where he was at last word still undergoing treatment.
