KTRE in Lufkin is reporting that the body of a woman that reported missing in Nacogdoches County has been found in a submerged car, which was found submerged in a pond.
The report said it is believed that 38-year-old Jacquelin Patricio Vasquez drowned when the vehicle she was driving went off the road, struck a pole and went into the pond at what is known as the Pine Creek Lodge.
It was reported that the incident and death is believed to have been an accident and that the body was recovered by divers from the Nacogdoches Fire Department on Thursday.
The Pine Creek Lodge, now known as the Pine Country Inn is located southwest of Nacogdoches.
