A Beaumont doctor was sentenced to 6 months in county jail for sexually assaulting a patient in 2018. Michael Holmes, 72, of Beaumont, received the sentence from State District Judge Raquel West and also ordered him to pay a $2,500.00 fine. He will also have to register as a sex offender. This comes after Holmes last month entered a guilty plea to the charge against him. Holmes has a private practice in the west end of Beaumont.
