Violence continues in Beaumont. This time police say two people were shot after a child was hit by a vehicle. It happened shortly after 4:00 Saturday afternoon on Ollie Street in front of Liberia Park in Beaumont’s south end. According to police, after the child was struck by the vehicle, a disturbance broke and the two people were shot. At last word, the child and the two people who were shot were all hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
