The National Weather Service in Lake Charles says the Thursday night/Friday morning arrival of a light cool front will bring a slight chance of severe thunderstorms. The slight potential for rough weather will happen as the cool front collides with very warm and moist air already in place across the region. Forecasters say we’ll have slightly lower temperatures on Friday and Saturday while enjoying a very noticeable drop in the humidity level making it much more comfortable outside. However, rain comes back into the forecast for Sunday and the next few days.
