He was a fixture on KTBS 3 for 20 years. From 1975 to 1995 people in the ArkLaTex tuned in each evening to see Al Pierce. He was simply one of the best.
According to a post on his son's Facebook page, Al passed away Tuesday evening. He was 73.
In 2015, Rick Rowe visited with Al as part of Rick's 60 stories when KTBS was celebrating 60 years on the air.
