SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport police confirmed an incident at a construction site that left one man dead. It happened before 1 p.m. Saturday at a site on Pines Street near West 70th Street. Shreveport police believe the incident to be accidental. The victim, Carlos Cardenas, 39, was pronounced dead on the scene. We will update with additional information as it is received.
