A victim in the recent shooting at Sprott Park in Beaumont has died

One of the victim's in the recent shooting at Sprott Park in Beaumont has died from the injuries she received. Police had said on Tuesday that the condition of of the 15 year old was still in critical condition and said to be in what was termed as a "vegetative state."

Our news partner KFDM in Beaumont is now reporting that police there have arrested a 15 year old juvenile who they now believe also had a role in the shooting that took place earlier this week at the park located on Virginia Street.

According to reports, Drevion Anthony Wilson, 18, has confessed that he intentionally shot the two who were innocent bystanders and just happened to be at the park when the incident occurred.

Wilson is still being held at the Jefferson County Jail where his bond has been set at $850,000.

Police say the Wilson and the 15-year-old suspect were shooting at each other across an apartment complex parking lot near Sprott Park in the 2200 block of Virginia Street.
