KFDM in Beaumont is reporting that a San Augustine man might have been the one who pulled the trigger, killing three members of his family, before turning the gun on himself in a deadly shooting on New Year's Day in Orange. The station reported on Tuesday that one of it's reporters, Mya Caleb, spoke to a family member who stated that investigators believe 33-year-old Lester Lewis shot and killed the others before taking his own life. However, that has not been confirmed by police. Police were called to the home at 2406 North 8th Street on the city's northeast side shortly before 8:00, when it was reported that the shooting had occurred and arrived to find the bodies of Lester Lewis Janiya Lewis, 17, Porsha Kiel, 34, and Bobby Kiel, 53, all of Orange. Police said all four had died from gunshot wounds. Why is still the big question and investigators are still trying to piece it all together. However, very little information has been released at this time, pending completion of the investigation.
